Three Wheels Around Oz
Three Wheels Around Oz an Extraordinary Journey
Conrads planned route around Australia will take an anticlockwise direction, going through Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin Perth Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and back to Sydney. He will be cycling across the desert of the Nullabor Plain and the remoteness of the outback between Cairns, Darwin and Perth where he will cover distances of 150 200 miles between towns.
He will have to carry all his rations for that journey, risk life and limb against venomous snakes and spiders that can kill you with just a little nip; and risk being bounced by a kangaroo into a lagoon of man eating crocodiles where he would almost certainly be eated alive. Having said this, the greatest danger of all is being hit by a road train.
